Judge Lemkuil has no qualms about pulling out a code book to reread a statute, and discuss with lawyers the intentions of lawmakers. However, she does not legislate from the bench, and is excellent about adhering to the laws of the Great State of Texas. Judge Lemkuil understands the reality (and feasibility) of her rulings’ impact on children and parents going forward. She is fair and balanced to mothers and fathers, and understands the value of having two parents in a child’s life.
